Sail to the Other Shore

You’ve all heard of Trade Winds. Do you remember why Columbus started out his sailing heading south from Europe, down to the Canary Islands? It was so he could ride the winds from there all the way across to the West Indies (which he thought were the Orient). Up to that time, most ships that ventured west had to tack their way (much slower). We tend to do the same in our Finances. The Average American is spending 34.5% of every dollar earned in interest. Add that to our taxes and there is not much left! That is a SIGNIFICANT head wind. We all want to get to the other shore—to our “promised land” where the winds just bring us wealth and we enjoy that liberty that all desire. The odds are against us, however, if we have to tack the whole way. It is time to change the way we do things. What should we change? To begin with, we need to follow in the footsteps of those that have made it to the other shore. WE NEED TO FIND THE TAILWINDS, AND RIDE THEM.
I’ll just ask it…. When are you going to apply the Infinite Banking Concept in your life? Others are using it to sail to the other shore—when will you? We suggest that you start right now!

1. Establish a “vault” and fill it with all the capital (seeds) that you can muster.
2. Plant those seeds by LENDING them.
3. Ensure that the fruit from those seeds makes it back into the “vault” (BE THE HONEST BANKER AND PAY BACK THAT LOAN).
If you will do this, you will have moved south to the Canary Islands,
and you will begin to feel the “Trade Winds” pushing you to the other shore. That will be a wonderful feeling! When the
storms come (and they will), put down your stabilizers and wait it out. The storm will calm, and the winds will push you along
again.
